In Jičín you will find a typical old Bohemian beer hall, designed in the style of pubs from the Austro-Hungarian era. It is located in the basement of the Grand Hotel Praha and has its own entrance from the atrium of the hotel.

Inside, you will find the Emperor’s Tavern and two lounges – the hunting lounge is decorated with period hunting trophies and the lounge U architect Holeček is filled with original manuscripts about the history of the construction of the Grand Hotel Praha in Jičín. The interior of the brasserie is decorated in the style of the Old Prague Art Nouveau with original, hundred-year-old furniture, period ceiling lamps and paintings of Franz Joseph I and his generals on the walls.

Here you can enjoy premium Pilsner Urquell lager, which is tapped on draught. Our gastronomy is based on Czech culinary traditions and we offer small dishes and delicacies to accompany the beer.
